A note from Dr. Durrie

Dr. Durrie

It’s with mixed emotions that I announce I’m stepping away from clinical practice at the end of 2019. For the past 45 years, I’ve had the incredible privilege of changing the lives of so many people through vision correction. While I’ll certainly miss the one-on-one patient care, this transition will provide me with more time to focus on research, development, and consulting, all of which have played an integral role in my career.

2020 is sure to be an exciting year for Durrie Vision, and I look forward to contributing to its success from a consulting position. My partners, Dr. Jason Stahl and Dr. Timothy Lindquist, will continue to lead the practice and provide the same exceptional patient care Durrie Vision was founded on. Dr. Stahl has worked alongside me for nearly two decades, even performing my own eye surgery in 2012. Dr. Lindquist first trained with me over ten years ago before joining Durrie Vision as partner in 2014. Both are internationally recognized surgeons and leaders in their field. Under their care, you can trust your eyes to be in excellent hands in 2020 and beyond.

Thank you for your trust and confidence in all your vision needs over the years. While vision correction is by nature a transformative & life changing experience for the patient, I’ve been blessed to have received more in return. Everyone’s reason for turning to vision correction is as unique as it is personal, and sharing in those stories has been a source of endless satisfaction and joy throughout my career.

Warm regards,

Daniel S. Durrie, MD
