Meet Dr. Jason Stahl: The LASIK Surgeon Behind Your Procedure
Dr. Jason E. Stahl has spent nearly three decades specializing in LASIK, refractive lens exchange, and refractive cataract surgery. His training reflects his deep commitment to patients who want to meet their vision goals with the latest methods and technologies.
Dr. Stahl earned his medical doctorate from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine, graduating with honors. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Scott & White Hospital at Texas A&M University, where he served as Chief Resident. His Cornea and Refractive Surgery Fellowship was completed right here in Kansas City.
Since then, the medical community has celebrated Dr. Stahl’s accomplishments. He’s been named one of America’s top ophthalmologists and a “Leader and Innovator” in the field. Kansas City Magazine has recognized him as a Top Doctor. In 2007, he received the American Academy of Ophthalmology Achievement Award, and in 2009, Ingram’s magazine included him in its “40 Under Forty” list.
He’s also a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the International Society of Refractive Surgery, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Refractive Surgery Alliance. He serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the Kansas University Medical Center and as Senior Instructor at the American Academy of Ophthalmology Annual Meeting.
