SBK Advanced LASIK
Co-developed by our founder, ophthalmologist Daniel S. Durrie, MD, SBK Advanced LASIK delivers exceptional results for nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism in patients 18 and older. Patients resume normal activities after their one-day follow-up exam.
Office-Based Refractive Cataract Surgery
Cataracts can cause clouded, blurry, and yellowed vision as proteins break down in your natural lens. Our in-office procedure not only removes your cataracts, but also replaces your lens with an intraocular lens (IOL), which can correct your vision at near, intermediate, and far distances, along with astigmatism and presbyopia. This surgery is suitable for patients who are over 60.
Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE)
Stop the progression of presbyopia and prevent cataracts while reducing or completely eliminating your dependence on glasses and contact lenses. RLE replaces your natural lens with an IOL to sharpen your vision at near, intermediate, and far distances.
Advanced Surface Ablation (PRK)
Advanced surface ablation (also called PRK) is an alternative to SBK Advanced LASIK when a patient has limited corneal thickness, scarring, previous eye surgery, holds a specialized profession, or has certain athletic and recreational demands. When comparing PRK versus LASIK side-by-side, they’re quite similar. PRK is suitable for patients 18 and older, and treats nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.
EVO ICL™
An Implantable Collamer® lens from EVO ICL™ is a phakic lens implanted behind the cornea to help with extreme nearsightedness or astigmatism. Although this procedure is reversible, these lenses reduce your reliance on high-prescription glasses and contacts. This procedure is suitable for patients 21 to 45 years of age.
SMILE Vision Correction
Patients 18 and older with astigmatism or nearsightedness may find their solution with SMILE, a minimally invasive laser eye procedure option. When evaluating SMILE laser eye surgery versus LASIK, they provide similar results.
